Start with the place, then consider the object
First look at the available space and how the object will be placed. A small relief has different requirements from a freestanding sculpture or lantern. A photograph of the place and some approximate measurements help you assess the proportions.
At a grave or urn site, it is sensible to discuss placement with the manager or stonemason. For a place of remembrance at home, the surface, available space and combination with other objects are important.
A sculpture or symbol that feels right for you
An angel, rose, tree of life, heart or cross can be part of a personal memory. You decide what a form expresses for you. It does not have to be a religious symbol, and the same object can mean different things to different people.
Compare the shape, size and available materials. The collection includes figurative sculptures as well as smaller ornaments. Some models are available in several versions; the options are shown with the item.
Light, flowers or a personal inscription
A memorial lantern provides a place for a suitable light source. A grave vase or flower bowl can hold flowers. Always check the dimensions, how the object is placed and which components come with your chosen version.
Metal lettering lets you compose a name, date or short thought. Our lettering configurator is also suitable for other uses, such as a home or business. At a memorial place, readability and proportion to the surface deserve particular attention.
Choosing an object for the farewell
You may wish to use an object at the funeral or memorial gathering before giving it a permanent place. Mention both uses when you enquire. We will consider whether the version is suitable and what preparation is needed.
If a particular date matters, please tell us in advance. Availability, the current price and delivery will be confirmed when you enquire. We handle the selection and specification of the object; your funeral director organises the funeral.
