De Gietkamer is the casting work of the Rein Tupker & Zn. family business in Soest. Since 1982 we have worked with metal and form. Forging, digital preparation and casting meet under one roof.

Rein Tupker started the forge in Soest in 1982. Pascal joined his father Rein’s business as an employee in 2005 and learned the craft from him. He became co-owner in 2013 and earned the title of Master Blacksmith in 2019. In 2024 the workshop moved to its current premises in Soest, with more room for forging and casting.
A commission may begin with a sketch, CAD model or damaged ornament. We discuss use, size, metal and finish before deciding on a production route.
3D scanning and printing help us investigate models. Mould choice, casting and finishing remain skilled work. A visualisation supports discussion, not a guarantee of the final metal.
