3D scanning and printing for casting

Capture an object, adjust a detail or check the scale in your hands: digital tools make design choices tangible. A plastic print is not the finished metal casting.

How does it work?

01

Digitising an object

A 3D scan can record an existing piece. We then discuss missing parts, alterations and critical dimensions. For restoration, the original remains the reference.

02

Printing a model

Our FDM printers serve larger models; resin printers suit smaller details. A print may help assess fit, scale or mould preparation. Printer volume does not determine maximum casting size.

03

From file to metal

Preview STEP, STP, STL, OBJ, 3MF and GLB in the 3D studio. Attach PDFs, DWG, DXF and photographs to your enquiry. We review metal, model, mould, wall thickness and finish personally.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start without a 3D file?

Yes. A sketch, photograph or existing object is enough to begin.

Will my print be cast directly in bronze?

Not automatically. A print can be a model or intermediate step; the casting method needs separate assessment.

What do you need for a useful price indication?

Send whatever you already have: a photograph, sketch, drawing, model or file. Dimensions, quantity, intended use and finish help us assess the production route. If anything is missing, we will ask you directly.
