How does it work?
From reference to casting
Depending on the object, a physical mould, 3D scan or new model may be suitable. We then discuss mould, metal and finish alongside the existing work.
How to start
Send overview photographs and close-ups with approximate dimensions. Explain what is missing, how the piece is fitted and whether you have permission to reproduce it.
Record the original object before restoration
Take overall and close-up photographs before cleaning or dismantling the object. Explain what must be preserved and whether the priority is function, appearance or historic context. A matching part or surviving fragment can support reconstruction. We advise on repair or replacement casting for each object.

Do I need to ship the original?
Start with photographs, dimensions and intended use. We will discuss whether the physical piece is needed.
Does the original object need to come to your workshop?
Photographs and dimensions help with an initial assessment. A final recommendation or model preparation may require examination of the object in Soest, the Netherlands. We agree this with you.
Can you reproduce just a missing part?
This may be appropriate. A fragment, matching component or documentation can provide a reference. We assess how the new casting must connect to the existing object.
What do you need for a useful price indication?
Send whatever you already have: a photograph, sketch, drawing, model or file. Dimensions, quantity, intended use and finish help us assess the production route. If anything is missing, we will ask you directly.
