A table base with a flowing rhythm.

A narrow waist, a flared foot and ribs that follow the form all around. The viewpoint and the light reveal a different part of the surface each time.

The application

A base with a form of its own.

The ribs run the full height and curve with the outline. They draw together at the centre and fan out towards the foot.

The photographs show the finished base in an interior and beneath a wooden tabletop. The contribution of the casting remains clearly distinguishable.

Form & surface

In the close-up, the ribs fan out towards the broad foot. Light on the edges and shadows in the grooves reveal the casting’s outline and surface.
