Bespoke / Nameplate
A nameplate with character.
Raised lettering, a clear house number and a distinctive surface. The relief gives this nameplate depth, especially in light falling from the side.

The application
The name as part of the design.
The measured layout keeps the name and number legible. Around the lettering, the texture remains visible: irregular relief with a warm, dark appearance.
The difference between the smooth lettering and the background gives the plate its character. A closer view reveals the edges and changes in height.
In the workshop
The work behind the finished piece.
Selected workshop photographs reveal what preceded the finished result. Each caption identifies the component or stage shown.
The relief pattern

The light-coloured nameplate pattern shows the raised numbers and lettering before casting in metal. The ceramic mould

The ceramic mould for the plate, with the round openings of the casting system. Releasing the casting

The relief emerges from the mould. Remnants of the ceramic shell are still present, before cleaning and finishing.
